Extremely clean, great staff and is not that far from center. Surprisingly warm and cosy as well

The lake view from our room at Rygerfjord Hotel & Hostel was absolutely stunning. We were even treated to a spectacular fireworks display on a boat during New Year's Eve. The staff were nice and accommodating, making our stay pleasant and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for its beautiful location and friendly atmosphere.

The location was fantastic. Access to parking was good but was not outlined in any of the information about the hotel. We only discovered it after we arrived. The breakfast was good for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were much roomier than we anticipated and were fine.

The sheets were great but the comforters and pillows were a little worn and lacking. The mattress was definitely not thick enough and the board of the bed could be felt through the mattress. The bed was not comfortable. There was a very bad oil smell in our cabin due to the lack of ventilation. It was unpleasant. More attention could be paid to cleaning the windows and the boat in general. The bathrooms were fine but were not cleaned often enough.

The location of the hotel is great, with easy access to public transportation and close to the Viking ferry terminal. The breakfast offered a nice selection and had a stunning view of the city. The rooms were warm and had the option of a hot air blower for added comfort. the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.

The toilets had a slight smell and there was a constant knocking sound that disturbed our sleep.

Good location, nice boat. People tried hard to create a boat-feeling. Also good was the breakfast buffet.Only the breakfast service was below par. The girl responsible for the breakfast buffet clearly had other priorities.

Room 107 was way too small (probably the smallest room of the whole ship, simply refuse that room! ) and under the matress of 5cm thick there was only a plank (imagine !). So one can understand that we had painfull hips in the morning. This is even a hostel un-worthy ! After Rygerfjord we went to sleep in the Af Chapman ship which had good quality beds.(albeit a hostel as well). So the price/quality ratio of Rygerfjord is below par. That room isn't worth 880 sek/night.

I just loved the whole place. Its cosy, atmospheric, but any slight fears I had that the rooms might me cramped or in any sense uncomfortable were instantly eliminated. Loved the room, loved the fact that it is quiet as anything at night as you are directly on the sea, woke up to see a trawler pulling out of port a few feet from my porthole. Staff are lovely, food is simple, filling, homely and cheap. By far the nicest place I have stayed in Stockholm, and indeed anywhere recently

I find it hard quite honestly to find anything negative. Maybe some fresh fruit at breakfast would be a plus, but I was nonetheless well fed and happy heading off after my breakfast

The location of the hotel is great, with easy access to other areas. The room and shared bathrooms are clean. Breakfast is very good, and you can enjoy a drink with a wonderful view from the boat's bar.

Rooms for 2 with bunk beds are super small, and the WC and shower rooms are dirty and old.

Staff are friendly and extremely helpful! Really laid back atmosphere and in the perfect location for access to the beautiful old town as well as a stunning view of the city hall.

It was located perfectly, when waking up, you could see the awakening Stockholm :)

Comfortable beds, no travel sickness, clean rooms, no wait for toilets and showers, useful kitchen.

Unique experience living on a boat. The boat is well kept and clean. One big advantage is the price in relation to the location. I would recommend Rygefjord for young travelers and backpackers.

However the rooms are a bit spartan, as can be expected on a boat. One drawback is that there is a outdoor club near by that plays loud music the whole night and the being a boat the walls are pretty thin, keeps you awake.

The view from my room was stunning, I could see it while lying on the comfy bed with clean linens and towels. The room was clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. The location was perfect, within walking distance of Gamla Stan and Sodermalm. As a budget traveler, I appreciated the value for money.

Felt very well taken care of, staff was helpful and accommodating.

Closeness to the old city and price, compared to other places. Great food in the restaurant.

Nothing special, but the breakfast was not very special.
